For the past seven years I’ve run a Yahoo news group on Cuba. It’s sent out over seventy thousand items from, about or related to Cuba. My father and his parents lived in Cuba during World War II. They were refugees from Nazi Germany, but there was no Jewish Adjustment Act, so they had to live and wait in Cuba until they finally got permission to come to the U.S. where he met my mom.
